                       Industrial Hygienist
Duties and Responsibilities:
Industrial hygienists check for health hazards, conduct health risk assessments, manage industrial or business health programs, and provide consultation.  They may be administrators, researchers, consultants or teachers.  Many work as part of an industrial or government team, although some have private practices.  Industrial hygienists often:
·         Work in laboratory analysis.
·         Check works environment to see if it is healthy.
·         Check for possible health hazards.
·         Conduct epidemiological research.
·         Instruct employees on injury prevention techniques.
Average Salary: $40,000 – $60,000
Educational Requirements:
Students should take challenging college preparatory courses, especially in mathematics and science, during high school. A career in industrial hygiene requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. The Bachelor’s Degree should be in occupational health and safety, environmental health engineering, or the physical sciences. Many jobs require certification and/or a Master's Degree in these.

I think I would like to be an Industrial Hygienist because the salary is good and you are able to check if people work in a safe environment.
