Psychiatrists may work for the government. They have their own private practice. They also work in hospitals, clinics, or universities.

Educational Requirements:

Psychiatrists should have a degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine. Psychiatrists must complete an intensive three year residency in Psychiatry.
