Student Success Statement

"Physical fitness is not only on of the most important keys to healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know that the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong."
President John F. Kennedy
What I think this quote is trying to say that physical fitness is not the most important thing. Being intellectual is also very important. Being both physical fit and intellectual are both equally important. Neither is more important than the other. For example what is it good to be at basketball but you don't know any of the plays. Another example is why does it matter to memorize all the plays in basketball if you can't contribute to the team.
