Student Success Statement

"Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence.
TALENT will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
GENIUS will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
EDUCATION will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."
- President Calvin Coolidge
30th president of US (1872- 1933)

This statement means that yes everyone is very talented and smart, but what separates us from one another is how determined we are to achieve something.Nothing but PERSISTENCE can make you successful. For example you might not be as athletic as your other classmates but as long as you are persistence at becoming a better athlete is what separates them from you.
