What I think this saying means is that everything is white, and your brain is the paint. You can have a good attitude and paint it colorful, with cheerful colors. That means that you want to be happy, On the other hand, you can  paint it with gloomy colors, like black and brown. With those colors, you might be sad, angry, depressed. Your mind can do a lot of powerful things, but your attitude can stop it from doing so, or empower it to do so.

What I think this quote is trying to say is that if you see yourself in the job that you want to have in the future you get the job that you see yourself having. For example if you see yourself being a doctor and you imagine yourself as a doctor you can be a doctor.

What I think this quote is trying to say is that if you lose your temper you are never going to win. You must learn to control yourself because that will help think clearly. For example, in basketball if the referee tells you it was a foul and you start to shout at him because you say it wasn't you are never going to win that argument.

What this statement is trying to say is that you can't just go from being horrible to being perfect in one day it takes years to become even near perfect. For example trust, you can not get someone to trust you with one little thing it takes years to fully  earn someone's trust.

I think that this statement means that when everyone works in a team they are able to achieve more things and in a faster rate than they would if they were to work alone. It also means that the reward is split among them and is worth more since they had to work in a team to achieve it.

Reflection: I believe that this statement means that our mind builds on what we think about. The mind is known to expand on a given subject. For example, if someone is always thinking about graduating and going to college then he will grows flowers, but if someone thinks about just staying home and living alone stealing to live then he is growing weeds.

What I think this quote is trying to say is that it is better to be by your self than around people that are bad. People that are a bad influence are the the type of people that you should not be around with. If hang out with people that are bad you are more likely to do bad things as well. An example of this quote is if you are around people that smoke its better to be by your self because you might start smoking with them.
