Healthcare Administrator
Duties and Responsibilities:
Healthcare administrators manage hospitals and other
health care facilities. They are
responsible for planning, financial administration, personnel
administration, materials management, purchasing, public affairs and patient
administration. Small hospitals may only have one or two health administrators
while the bigger hospitals may contain several. Some administrators are specialize in specific
fields like patient administration or purchasing. Health care administrators
also work in health agencies, clinics, or for private practices.
Average Salary:
$35,000 - $100,000
Educational Requirements:
Students
should take the most challenging high school courses in business, science,
math, and English. Most healthcare administrators hold master's degrees in
healthcare administration or business administration
