Speech Pathologist
Duties and Responsibilities:
They must help patients with speech impairment or
disabilities. They assess, diagnose, and treat and help to prevent
communication and swallowing disorders in patients. Many of these disorders
come from diseases or illnesses such as, brain injuries, hearing loss,
development delay, and even cerebral palsy.
Salary:
$33.59 an hour
$69,870 per year
Educational Requirements:
Students should focus on the most difficult level of
Science, English, and math. Students also need a Master's degree and at least 2
years of training. After passing their state exams they must pass another one
to be certified.
I do not want to be a Speech Pathologist because I don't
like having to repeat myself numerous times, and this is what these people have
to do as a living. I also don't like people who stutter because after a while
it starts to get annoying.
